Nursery

In March we have done some really fun and exciting activities! First we had the Eisteddfod - We did lots leading up to that - We had a carousel and we went round to each class. We made Mother's Day crafts and we held a sale so exciting, the Easter Bunny came to visit us and gave us Cream Eggs! We had an Easter bonnet parade and a lucky one of us won. We had so much fun in March and we hope April is the same!! 

Reception

In March we have done some extremely fun activities. The first thing we did was the Eisteddfod. On the same day as the Eisteddfod we also did a carousel. We also did a very exiting Easter egg hunt. Another activity which we did was a project all about helping the Easter bunny. In this project we had to attach a basket to a wire and slide it across to the Easter bunny. This was awesome and bucket loads of fun. Also we did the Easter bonnet parade. We loved taking part and if you were the winner you would get an Easter egg and if you didn't win then you would still get a little cream egg for participating. The eggs were delicious and we had lost of fun.

Year 1

Year l

In March we made stained glass windows. We made crowns. After that we also did an Easter bonnet parade to show all of our wonderful Easter bonnets! We also had our Eisteddford and did a carousel. 

Year 2

In March we had Kato the dog. We had the Easter Bonnet parade. We had the fire man and it was fun.

We had the police in. The police told us about being safe. We had a showcase, we showed our families our work about castles, opportunities and stories. 

Year 3

This March year three went on a trip to Cardiff. And we were going to see the Bwbach and we were going to work on the Bwbach's house. We also had snack and lunch we went on the bus back to school. We had Easter Bonnet day and in Dosbarth Saundersfoot Hazel won and because she won she got eggs and in Dosbarth Tremadog Poppy won and she got eggs.

Year 4

In march we had Saint David's day competition with arts and handwriting and the photo competition. In march we made a Wales poem for the competition. We done the Easter bonnet parade. We learnt about fast food and why it is bad for you . We wrote an story and an new extract for the Bwbach, we did the grid method to multiply. We looked at what makes a good friend. We went to Llancaiach fawr. We looked at our teeth and why they are important.

SNRB

Class 13 - We made sandwiches and we did baking. We did dragon rugby and made Easter cards and Easter bonnets. 

Class 14 -We wrote stories about Dragons and Fractions with money and did stain glass windows and learnt about the town of Cwmbran and dragon rugby.

Year 5

In year 5 we visited Cardiff for our trip. We took part in the Eisteddfod, we did art work, handwriting and poetry. We also had an Easter bonnet parade, and the winner had an Easter egg. 

On Mother's day we sewed some pattered plates to place on the cards. We did this with Miss Millinship! Thank you! Class 11 also had their turn with Caring Canines. 

Year 6

On the first of March in Year 6 we had the Eisteddfod. We handed out prizes for the best art, handwriting and poetry. We also chaired the Year 6 bard (The best poet in year 6).We announced the winners of the Welsh Photo Competition too! We had a lots of fun!  We also had our welsh carousel in the morning, where we went around the year groups doing welsh activities, like welsh dancing and bingo. On the 5th of March we had our mothers sale and some of us helped sell stuff. On the 6th some of our children went to compete in the TAG rugby competition! On the 12th of March we had our world war 2 show cases. We really enjoyed it and had lots of fun! On the 15th of March we had our Red Nose Day celebration. It looked like we all had terrible colds! On the 19th of march we had are open book day assembly/world book day. On the 21st of March we had our Easter Bonnet parade. The hats were all fantastic and everyone who won really deserved it. In class 16 Natalya won with a fabulous prom hat, and in class 15 Caitlin won with a stunning hat. The rest of us got cream eggs! Yummy! Then we had our Easter holidays! Yippee!
