We hope that you all enjoyed visiting our School fete, we thank you all for coming!

Next week we are going to start looking at our STEM project which is to design our own mode of transport- we are going to be designing our own sleigh for Santa himself! Pupils will be planning and discussing what they want their vehicle to look like before physically designing it.

We have been very busy learning about Volcanoes. We have been looking at the six stages of how a volcano is formed and have created our own volcanoes using card, scissors and sellotape. We made our volcanoes erupt using bicarbonate of soda, vinegar and food coloring. Take a look at our videos on Twitter! Over the next few weeks we will begin writing our explanation text about how a Volcano is formed and will be sharing these with parents when complete!

In Maths this week we have been looking at data- pupils have been looking at Tally charts, Carroll diagrams and bar charts. Pupils have been developing their Welsh language skills by making these Welsh themed. Homework will be sent out on Friday where pupils will have to sort data into the correct area of the Carroll Diagram. This should be returned within one week.

Here you can find out about our topics, useful links, important class information and up and coming dates.

This autumn term we have been busy learning about the Rugby World Cup and our country- Italy! Children have been completing some fantastic topic work already, including: travel brochures of various Italian regions including Lazio, Tuscany and Sardinia. Pupils have been exploring famous physical features in Italy including Volcanoes, Mountains and Rivers. We have also been focusing on famous Italian artist- Michaelangelo. Pupils will soon be finishing their designs of the famous Sistine Chapel. We look forward to sharing them with you!
