Nursery

In nursery we have watched our caterpillars turn into beautiful butterflies. We then set them free into the wild. We had a bug ball. We also made things out of mud. Another thing we did was developed our ball skills for our FFAB 11 activities.

Reception

In May we had animal interactive come in. They did a minibeasts vs mega beasts workshop. We also had a visit from Vladi's Dad to tell us about the country he is from (Spain). This was to support our leaning for World Vision. We were really grateful for this as we one World Vision. YAY!

Year 1

We were learning about the story Beegu. We had a visit from Rocko and Kato the Caring Canines dogs. 

Year 2

We went to Cardiff Castle on 10th of May. Mrs Angel farmer's class visited the principality stadium as part of FFab11.We made  lunch for our friends and had an indoor picnic on the 13th of May. Some children had a pizza afternoon for attendance .We visited the library on the 15th of May. We were the USA in World Vision Day, but we did not win! :(

Year 3

We did a Fab 11 to be a nature photographer and some of us did a tree and a bird. We did World Vision day and we were Jamaica and reception won. We played rugby and that was really fun. We had a Noah's ark worker come and did an assembly and we talked about the trip where we are going to Noah's ark.  She talked about the animals and places and we had fun with her!!!!

Year 4

For our FAB 11 project we taught a new skill to someone who did not know how to do it. We had a rainbow day. We had a visit from Rocko and Kato in an assembly. We performed Waterloo in our World Vision day as Sweden. 

SNRB

We had a very fun and exciting time visiting Barry Island. We met children from all other schools. We played on the sand. 

Year 5

This month we had a visit from the Salvation Army. They taught us about what they do. We toasted marshmallows (I burnt mine) and built a campfire in the outdoor classroom. 

Year 6

In year 6 we have done a German lesson with Mr Tate (Governor). We have also had some transition meetings with Croesy high school. We have also done the exiting school competition called World Vision. Our country was the UK as our person who originally sung our song was Adele. The name of our song was Set fire to the rain. We tried really had however we did not win. Reception won. Their country was Spain.
