Dear Parent/Carer,

Class 9 - Dobsarth Tongwynlais (Miss Vaughan) and Class 10 - Dosbarth Pembroke (Ms Meyer) will be visiting Porthcawl on Tuesday 3rd June 2025.  

The children will be flying our kites as part of FFAB11 (Fifty Fun Activities Before 11).

Children can bring money in an envelope labelled with their name for an ice cream or ice lolly (please note they will not be allowed to purchase anything else). We recommend between £2.50-£5 (please no more than £5).  They can bring buckets and spades with them or a suitable ball. ONLY beach toys which they will carry in a carrier bag, nobody else will be carrying and no inappropriate toys. 
If children already have their own kite at home they are welcome to bring that too.

The cost of this trip is £8.20 per child and is payable via CivicaPay.  Please log into your child's account and make the payment by clicking on the trip.

The trip will take place during school time and pupils will need to bring plenty of drinks to keep hydrated, a packed lunch (or please indicate below if you would like your child to be provided with a free school meal packed lunch) with no glass bottles.  Pupils should wear school uniform with sensible footwear and clothing that is suitable for the weather on the day e.g. a waterproof coat/sun hat and sun cream.

If your child requires medication (e.g. asthma pump, epi-pen etc.) please ensure they have it with them on the day, without it they will be unable to participate in the trip.
