Class 11 - Dosbarth Pontrhydyfen (Mrs Rowberry) and Class 12 - Dosbarth Merthyr Tydfil (Mrs Cook) will be taking a trip to Caffi'r Goron (Cafe at Crownbridge School) on Friday 18th September 2026. The children will also be walking through Cwmbran Town Centre to talk to food vendors.

The trip will take place during the school day.  There is no cost for this trip as the children will be walking. However, as we are visiting the cafe the children are able to bring cash to purchase food items from the cafe at lunch time. Alternatively they are welcome to bring their own packed lunch or have a packed lunch provided by school. 

Please could you select below if you'd like them to be provided with a free school meal packed lunch from school.

A menu from Caffi'r Goron is attached. Children are welcome to have an item from the menu in addition to their packed lunch if they would like to.Please speak to your child about what they would like and include their order on the box on this permission form.
Cash will be required to pay for items at the cafe, please send in the correct money (or as close as possible) by Monday 14th September in an envelope, purse or wallet, labelled with your child's name.

Only food is to be ordered, no drinks, so please ensure your child has a drink with them.
Children should wear school uniform and be dressed appropriately for the weather on the day, including a sun hat/sun cream if the weather is (hopefully!) sunny or a waterproof coat if raining plus please could they wear sensible shoes for walking in.

If your child requires medication i.e. asthma pump/epi-pen, etc please ensure they have it with them on the day, without it they will be unable to participate in the trip.
