Dear parent/carer,

Your child has been selected to represent the school at a Dance Festival at the Congress Theatre on Monday 18th May 2026 which will be an evening performance at 7:15pm.

Your child will need to be at the Congress Theatre for 6.30pm.  Please could your child wear trainers (any colour) with a black tshirt and black leggings. 

The children will be also be attending a rehearsal at the Congress Theatre the same day, Monday 18th May during the school day. If possible, can you drop your child to the Congress Theatre for 9:10am. We will be walking the children back to school.  Children will need to have a packed lunch or you can select to have a school packed lunch provided on the form below.

If your child has medication (e.g. an asthma pump) please ensure they have it with them on the day of the rehearsal and the festival.

There is no cost for the trip.  

Parents/carers/family members are able to watch the dance festival. Tickets for the event are available directly from the Congress Theatre from 1st May and will be priced around £7 each. You can get them on the theatre website or directly from the Congress itself.

Please complete the permission form below as soon as possible but no later than Friday 1st May.
