Year 6 pupils each year are invited to attend a 'Crucial Crew' event.
Crucial Crew is a multi-agency safety education initiative for Year 6 primary school pupils (aged 10–11) designed to teach essential life skills and risk awareness before they transition to secondary school. Using interactive, real-life scenarios, it covers topics like road, fire, water, railway, and internet safety, as well as substance misuse and anti-social behaviour.

Dosbarth Tenby (Class 15 - Ms Meyer), Dosbarth Rhossili (Class 16 - Miss Wilkinson) and Year 6 members of LRB in Dosbarth Anglesey (Class 13 - Mrs Harrison) and Dosbarth Cwmbran (Class 14 - Mr Rowlands) are invited to attend a session on Wednesday 4th March 2026.

There is no cost for this trip and it will take place during school time. Pupils will be walking to the event which is taking place in the Cwmbran TA Centre (LRB parents/carers, please indicate below if you're able to transport your child or if you are happy for them to walk).

Children will need a packed lunch (please indicate below if you would like your child to have a free school meal packed lunch provided) with no glass bottles which they will have on return to school just after the lunch break. Pupils should wear school uniform with sensible footwear for walking and a waterproof coat.

If your child requires medication i.e. asthma pump/epi-pen, etc please ensure they have it with them on the day, without it they will be unable to participate in the trip.
