Year 5 swimming sessions are starting for Year 5 members of Class 11 (Dosbarth Pontrhydyfen - Miss Vaughan) and some Year 5 members of LRB on Monday (8th September).

Class 12 and the other Year 5 members of LRB will be going in the second half of the year.

Parents/carers signed a consent form last academic year for your child to attend, so there's no need to sign anything this time, but on Monday your child will need to bring a swimming costume (please only one piece swimming costumes or swimming shorts/trunks, no bikinis), goggles (if they would like to, these are not necessary), a towel and a snack to have when they come out of the pool if they'd like to bring one.

They will be attending for 15 sessions between now and February half term each Monday afternoon.

The cost for these sessions is £5.75 per session. This is for the coach to take the children to and from Cwmbran Stadium and the swimming lesson itself with Torfaen swim instructors.  You can pay for all 15 sessions at once (£86.75), make block payments or weekly (please ensure it is paid by the morning of each Monday).  Without payment at least for each weekly session your child will not be able to attend.  Any missed sessions will be refunded to you.
