Nursery

We had a bonfire party. We also went on an autumn walk. We took part in remembrance day, made Pudsey biscuits and did Jo Wicks exercise session. We also had our autumn showcase for parents. 

Reception

We walked to Aldi to buy ingredients. We made melting snow man biscuits for the reading cafe. We started our Christmas concert practise. 

Year 1

We wrote a letter to Santa and went on a snail hunt. We went to visit Santa in the toy mine and completed our Autumn showcase for parents. 

Year 2

We took part in anti-bullying lessons. We had a remembrance day service. We had a children in need day and wore Odd socks. We did our autumn showcase for parents. We had a visit from Eden gate who talked about donations of food for the homeless. 

Year 3

We completed our anti-bullying lessons. Eden gate visited for an assembly about food donations for the homeless. We carried out our showcase for parents on our topic Rainforest. We had online safety with the PC. We also learnt why it is important to learn Welsh. 

Year 4

We completed our anti-bullying lessons. Eden gate visited for an assembly about food donations for the homeless. We carried out our showcase for parents on our topic Rainforest. We had online safety with the PC. We also learnt why it is important to learn Welsh.

SNRB

We went bowling. We had Odd Socks day and through homework designed our own socks. Eden gate visited to talk about food and the homeless. We had online safety with the PC. 

Year 5

In November we had anti-bullying day names Odd Socks. Our homework was designing our own pair of socks. Eden gate visited about food donations for the homeless. We completed our homework about Australia and out topic. We had talks about fire and keeping safe, and online about e-safety. We discussed why being Welsh is important and we completed a Welsh rap about recycling. 

Year 6

Year 6 had a trip to LLantarnam Grange for their batik art. We also had a visit to Cwmbran library. We had a sports visitor who taught us cricket skills. Through our projects we have created puppets using our sewing skills. We also attended the reading cafe with our families.
