January
Nursery
This term we welcomed the rising three children, started our balance bike training and we enjoyed a winter walk to find signs of winter. We also celebrated St Dynwen's Day and we've had our lunar year party.
Reception
We learnt how to balance on bikes. We have drawings of snow drops.
We have been on a winter walk and we have melted parts of Jack Frost.
Year 1
We had a road safety workshop and have used balance bikes. We have started our new literacy book ''zog'' . The children have been enjoying learning about creative writing.
Year 2
We started our new term with Cynefin (belonging) topic. Children have loved learning about castles and dragons. We have loved taking part in our road safety workshop active travel and thoroughly enjoyed working with caring canines!
Year 3
We have done active travel and Gwent music have teaching us music lessons. We have also had rugby sessions with the Dragons.
Year 4
We have been doing active travel. We have been learning about a new Cynefin and the Stuarts. We have started are new novel. We have bean measuring temperature. We have had yoga.

Class 13 & 14 like Dragons ruby.
Caring canines came to visit us.

Year 5
Active travel competition for the whole school mascot ready for February internet safety week. Class twelve are starting swimming at the end of January .we have been doing silhouettes and coding house's link to are new Victorian project we watch and reviewed Oliver 1968. coordinates in maths and playing games.
Year 6
We returned back to school in the new year and started our new theme Cynefin and WW2. We started reading the boy in the striped pyjamas and we looked at active travel and workshop learning about how we should try to walk to school. Some children had been invited to a gymnastics competition and we came forth.
